The Markdown Editor

Chatlo features a blazing-fast, WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) Markdown editor built on TipTap. It stays out of your way when you are typing, but provides powerful formatting when you need it.

Basic Formatting

You can use standard Markdown shortcuts to format your text instantly without touching your mouse:

• Type # followed by a space for a Heading 1
• Type ## for a Heading 2
• Type * or - followed by a space for a Bullet List
• Type 1. followed by a space for a Numbered List
• Surround text with ** for **bold** text
• Surround text with * for *italic* text

The Floating Toolbar

If you prefer using a mouse, you can simply highlight any text in your note. A floating toolbar will instantly appear right above the text, allowing you to quickly change alignment, toggle highlights, or apply bold/italics.
